Sept. 22 — The Times-Dispatch reports that Ben W. Fawley claimed that he was abducted and robbed just hours after Taylor was last seen. The photographer reported to police that he was walking in an alley near Monument and Franklin Street around 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Sept. 6. Fawley filed the police report filed at 4:42 p.m. Sept. 6, 11 hours after the attack. A camera, tripod and some cash was taken from him.
Virginia Commonwealth University has offered a $20,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the location and return of Taylor Behl.

Sept. 23 — Ben W. Fawley was arrested around 3 p.m. on 16 child pornography charges. He was served with search warrants for his fingerprints, hair and DNA as well as to search for any items that may belong to Taylor Behl, such as her clothing, jewelry, cell phone, license plates, etc. Fawley has convictions in VA and PA for aggravated assault, destruction of property, theft, receiving stolen property, and reckless endangerment.
Sept. 26 — Ben W. Fawley was arraigned on 16 counts of child pornography. Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Mike Jagels said investigators found evidence in Fawley's computers of at least 30 movies depicting sexual acts with children between 10 and 14 and some as young as 1. He was denied bond.
Fawley may face additional charges stemming from sexual intercourse with 17-year-old Taylor.
Fawley lives off a Social Security disability income stemming from bipolar mental illness.
Chris Collins will not continue as Fawley's attorney after a public defender is found.
Sept. 28 — Police ask the Richmond area community to help them find a special Virginia license plate "GRN ERTH." The personalized plate was stolen about the time of Taylor's disappearance and may have been in Ben W. Fawley's possession. Police ask anyone who has seen the license plate to contact them with the make and model of the car, a description of the driver, and the time and place it was last seen.

Search Warrant Yields Unusual Items for Analysis
WRIC broke the news that police have extended their investigations into Henrico County at the State Fair. No additional details given as to what prompted the investigation.
The public defender has stepped away from Ben Fawley's case. Attorney Chris Collins will continue to defend Fawley on the child pornography charges.
