Sept. 7 — 1 a.m. Taylor reported missing to VCU campus police by roommate, Emma
(last name withheld).
1-2 a.m. Janet Pelasara, Taylor's mother, heads for Richmond.

3-5 a.m. Taylor's friends, Mike Cino and Ben W. Fawley, and other friends contacted about Taylor's disappearance.

Sept. 5-Sept. 16 — During this period VCU campus police were the lead investigators in Taylor's disappearance.

Sept. 15 — Richmond Police Department opens a criminal investigation and takes over the lead role in Taylor's case. Although there is no evidence of foul play, a task force is formed led by the Richmond Police Department. The 11-member task force consists of officers from Richmond and state police, VCU, the FBI and the state attorney general's office. An Amber Alert is issued.
