Police have identified six other addresses in Brighton and Portslade where Tobin lived between 1969 and 1989; however, they say they have not yet made plans to search those residences.
On November 12, forensic teams using geophysics equipment to identify areas where the ground had been disturbed discovered human skeletal remains, after an exhaustive 12-hour search of the backyard of Tobin's former residence, where he lived from March to December 1991. Forensics experts later identified the remains as those as of 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton, who was last seen on the evening of Feb. 10, 1991.

Following the discovery of Vicky's remains, investigators conducted a second search of the property, and on November 16, they discovered Dinah's remains in the back garden near a patio.

Essex Police have yet to reveal what prompted the search of the property, other than to say it came about as the result of a "cold case review."
Jailed for raping and sodomizing two teenage girls in 1994, Tobin was sentenced to life imprisonment, but earned an early release in May 2004. Due to the nature of his crimes, he was automatically registered as a sex offender.
