Following his confession to police, Jones was arrested and placed in the Palm Beach County jail, where he is being held without bond. According to the booking blotter at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office's Web site, Jones is charged with first-degree murder, burglary, arson and aggravated assault with a firearm.

In closing this tragic story, I would like to include one last quote Chad recently left on his MySpace profile. In describing life in general, he wrote:
"At the end of the day, you only have yourself and God to answer to."
Whether Jones will answer to God remains unclear. However, he will most likely spend the rest of his life behind bars, answering to his own personal demons.
