According to The Canton Repository, deputies removed several items from the residence, including: Lysol and Clorox cleaning bottles, three empty bottles of Febreze fabric freshener, garbage bags, three cell phones, and a partially used roll of duct tape.
Ferrell was arrested on Sunday, and charged with obstruction of justice. The Stark County Sheriff's Department refuses to comment on either arrest, saying that any information that they release could hurt their case.

Also on Sunday Jessie's body was positively identified by the Summit County medical examiner; however, he was unable to speculate about the cause of death due to the condition of the body. A spokesperson for the medical examiner's office has stated that it may take several weeks for them to determine how she died.
The discovery of Jessie's body marked the end of an intensive 10-day search that involved thousands of volunteers from around the nation.

On Friday and Saturday, Tim Miller, director of Texas EquuSearch, led groups of searchers through forests, cornfields, and garbage dumps. The group was still searching when the sheriff's department announced the discovery.
