CANTON, OH (Crime Library) — The search for Jessie Marie Davis, 26, came to an end during the weekend when investigators found her body in a Summit County park. Shortly after the discovery, Jessie's boyfriend, Bobby Cutts Jr., 30, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder — one count for Jessie and the other for her unborn daughter.

Patty Porter |
On June 15, Jessie's mother, Patty Porter, made a troubling discovery when she went to visit Jessie, who was nine months pregnant, and due to give birth any day. Upon entering her daughter's house, she found her two-year-old grandson, Blake, home alone. He was wearing a dirty diaper, and the house was in a state of disarray. Blake told investigators: "Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy's in rug."
On Saturday afternoon, the Stark County Sheriff's Department announced that they had found a partially decomposed body, assumed to be that of Jessie Davis, in a shallow grave in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The location is approximately 25 miles from Jessie's home in Lake Township. It is not yet clear what led investigators to the site; however, the Akron Beacon Journal published a report yesterday stating that Cutts confessed to being involved in Jessie's death. The sheriff's department will neither comfirm nor deny this report.

On Saturday night, Stark County deputies and FBI agents raided the home of Myisha Ferrell, 29, a friend and former high school classmate of Cutts.
"They totally filled up a trunk of a sheriff's car," neighbor, Justin Lindstrom, 27, told The Plain Dealer. "I don't know what they were looking for, but they took plenty of it."
