The Macomb County Sheriff's Department is continuing their search of Stony Creek Metropark in an attempt to locate more of Tara's remains. On Sunday afternoon, five tracking dogs were brought in to assist in the search.
As of this writing, the torso and body parts have not been positively identified, but authorities say that have no doubt that it is Tara Grant. Dr. Daniel Spitz, the Macomb County Medical Examiner, said that there were no gunshot or stab wounds evident on the torso, and that it could take several days to make a positive identification and to determine a cause of death.
