A July 2008 birthday party in honor of WWE wrestling hall of famer Lou "Captain Lou" Albano at the La Lanterna restaurant in Yonkers, N.Y., spun out of control when former ECW champion James "The Sandman" Fullington got into a dispute with the manager and began throwing drinking glasses at restaurant staff. Police were called to the scene, and Fullington began throwing glasses and plates at them as well, injuring two police officers. Arrested at gunpoint, Fullington spent four nights in jail before making bail and was charged with second degree assault, a felony, third degree criminal mischief, a felony, second degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. In October 2008, Fullington pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, was fined $1,200 including court costs, and received a one-year suspended sentence.
