WWE and TNA champion Kurt Angle was arrested in the parking lot of a supermarket in Robinson, Pa., on August 15, 2009, for violating the restraining order a former girlfriend, who called police from inside the store, had in place against him. Angle, an Olympic gold-medalist and one of the few world-class amateur wrestlers to go on to a successful career in professional wrestling, was able to have the charges dropped in November 2009, when he and the woman reached an agreement to avoid contact in the future.
