The 'Sopranos' Real Life Troubles

Lillo Brancato Jr., who played Matt Bevilacqua on several episodes of "The Sopranos," was arrested December 11, 2005, after he and his friend Steven Armento, 48, allegedly shot off-duty New York police officer Daniel Enchautegui. According to authorities, the duo broke into an apartment to steal prescription drugs and shot at Enchautegui when he responded to the break-in. Armento and Brancato Jr. appeared before a judge on December 15, 2005, and were charged with first and second-degree murder, respectively. Armento could face life without parole if convicted. His trial is set to begin in October of 2008.
