After a lengthy legal battle with the Jackson family, a former business associate was awarded an extensive collection of family memorabilia, including this photograph of a young Michael with the world’s most beloved extraterrestrial, E.T. The collection’s owner, Henry Vaccaro Sr., sold the items to an unnamed buyer for more than $1.4 million – the amount Vaccaro won in a civil judgment against the Jacksons. When the family wasn’t able to pay that amount, he obtained the memorabilia from a bankruptcy trustee.
