During a January 2003 television interview (left), Scott Peterson was sporting his natural dark-brown hair and clean-shaven face as he denied any involvement in the disappearance of his pregnant wife, Laci. Only three months later, the bodies of Laci and his unborn son, Connor, were discovered, and police had a warrant to arrest the Modesto, Calif., man for murder. When they caught up to him in San Diego, his hair was blond, he had grown a beard, and was carrying $10,000 and his brother's identification.
