Crystal Webberly
Cops setting up surveillance in the parking lot of a Holbrook, NY., Toys R Us store on Thursday, October 20, spotted a woman in a car tying a strap around her arm. Officers approached the vehicle, where they say they observed Crystal Webber, 29, getting ready to shoot heroin. Her two-month-old son, police said, was in the back seat. Officers interfered before Webberly could inject the drug, and she was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Jacqueline Dattilo, 26, who was in the car with Webberly, was also hit with the same charges, as well as loitering. Webberly's son is now in the custody of his grandmother.
On Webberly's public Facebook page, there are no photos of her son, but plenty of party pictures and self-portraits. The morning following her arrest, the post seen above appeared on her wall.
