Richmond, Va.  (CRIME LIBRARY)  Ben W. Fawley, the 38-year-old photographer and allegedly intimate friend of Taylor Behl, and one of the last people to see her before she went missing, claims that hours after Taylor disappeared, he was abducted and robbed. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported that the photographer filed a police report claiming that "he was walking in an alley near Franklin Street and Monument Avenue at 5 a.m. Sept. 6 when he was 'robbed by an unknown number of people,' hit in the stomach by 'an unknown object' before being pushed down and having a bag placed over his head."

Fawley went on in the report to say that he was put into a vehicle and driven to an unknown location. A camera and cash was reported stolen. The report was filed with the police late in the afternoon of Sept 6.

Richmond police have executed a number of search warrants related to Taylor's disappearance. However, the search of Fawley's apartment was based upon a separate investigation into child pornography. A number of Fawley's computers were taken as a part of the pornography investigation.

The last documented sighting of Taylor was shortly after 10 p.m. on the night of Sept 5 when she came back to her dormitory to find her roommate and her boyfriend together. To give her roommate some privacy, Taylor decided to go skateboarding with friends and was not seen after that.

Police are also investigating a man identified by one of the K-9s used in the forensic investigation of Taylor's 1997 Ford Escort, which was found abandoned parked on Mulberry Street in well-maintained residential area. The man told police that he did not know Taylor, but they may have friends in common.

Police have also impounded for a forensic analysis a Nissan Altima of another acquaintance of Taylor's.
