Richmond, Va., (Crime Library) —The chief suspect in the death of 17-year-old Taylor Behl is Ben Fawley, 38, an amateur photographer living on the fringe of the academic community at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Gradually, the many Internet "screen names" of Fawley's uncovered in recent weeks include "RVA Serial Killer." One interpretation of this alias is Richmond, VA serial killer.
A day does not go by without some new suspicious revelation about the life and crimes of Ben Fawley. Crime Library reported yesterday about Fawley's recent gun possession charges. As a convicted felon, Fawley is not permitted to have a gun. The charges stem from his possession of at least one and possibly two firearms. Fawley is currently being held without bond on charges stemming from possession of child pornography.
Taylor's family is hoping to have their daughter's funeral on Thursday, her 18th birthday. It is unclear whether the medical examiner will have released Taylor's body for burial by this time.
