The Crime Library Privacy Policy

The Crime Library recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of personal information about our subscribers. Personal information includes all of the personally identifying information that is provided to The Crime Library. The Crime Library is sensitive to these privacy interests and believes that protecting personal information is one of The Crime Library's most significant responsibilities.

The policies outlined below describe The Crime Library's policies to protect your privacy.

Maintenance of Accurate Information
The Crime Library has established procedures so that a subscriber's information is accurate, current and complete in accordance with reasonable commercial standards. Any request to correct inaccurate information is responded to within a timely manner.

Limiting Employee Access to Information
All Crime Library employees are educated about the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Only those having a business reason for knowing such information have access to personally identifiable information.

Protection of Information via Established Security Procedures
The Crime Library maintains rigorous security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to subscriber information.

Disclosure of Privacy Principles to Subscribers
Subscribers have the right to know what information we keep about them and how the information is used. Subscribers have the right to have any inaccurate information corrected or deleted.

Spam Policy

Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Email spam targets individual users with direct mail messages and costs the sender very little to send. Most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.

The Crime Library does not condone the use of spam and the sending of unsolicited email in any form, nor do we control other web sites involvement and/or practices in this area.
