Authored four novels, four screenplays, two plays, two books of poetry, many essays, articles and research papers.  Guest lecturer at Columbia University, Sarah Lawrence College, Cleveland State University, Ohio State University, Wooster College, Oberlin College, Cuyahogao Community College and many other instituitions, organizations and societies throughout the world.  A protégé of Langston Hughes and Rod Serling.  An alumni of Karamu House and The Cleveland Playhouse.
