Robert Randisi is the cofounder of Mystery Scene Magazine and its American Mystery Award, and the American Crime Writers' League.  He is also the founder of the Private Eye Writers of America and the creator of their Shamus Award.  He is also the author of a number of mystery novels featuring Manhattan Private Eye Miles Jacoby and Brooklyn-based Nick Delvecchio.
