Dana's mother, fifty-seven-year-old Glee Ewell, was found in the east wing of the house in what appeared to be an office. Her body was between a desk and couch.
The Ewell maid was wandering around the premises outside. She had called 911 after discovering the bodies.
Had anyone called the university and found Dana? Someone should maybe tell the boy that his entire family had been assassinated.
Jesse Knapp, the neighbor Dana had called earlier, wasn't interested in making that call.
A friend of the family gave detectives Dana's number.
Somebody call him!
Inside. Mrs. Ewell. The one victim out of the three who clearly knew she was being murdered.
Surveying her body, it was easy for investigators to tell that Glee Ewell had stared into the eyes of her killer.
