According to reports published by the Italian media, Guede claims Meredith tried to tell him the name of her killer before she died and that she said the killer's initials were A.F.
"Rudy hearing what were possibly Meredith's final words will be the heart, the center of our defense case," Biscotti told Guardian.co.uk.
According to police, Guede is a native of Côte d'Ivoire, a country in West Africa, who had been adopted by a wealthy Perugia family. Court records show he has a previous conviction for dealing drugs.
Last week Italian news agencies posted links to a bizarre video clip of Guede that was posted to YouTube.com, an online video streaming service that allows users to upload and share videos on the Internet. In the video, in which Guede appears to be intoxicated, he says: "I'm an extra-terra. I'm from alien earth who must be called human people. Oh Mamma. I'm a vampire. I'm Dracula. I'm gonna suck your blood." It remains unclear when the video was made.

Knox and Sollecito both continue to deny any involvement in Meredith's death; however, Italian authorities have allegedly said that they have found Knox's DNA on the handle of a knife they believe to have been the murder weapon.
After learning of these most recent developments, Sollecito has asked permission to present new evidence to the prosecutor.
"The situation has changed, and the investigation, now that Rudy Guede has emerged, has changed a great deal," Sollecito's lawyer, Marco Brusco, told Thisislondon.co.uk. "Our client wants to clarify certain things, but I cannot tell you what they are."
