At the end of the profile Woody describes who he would like to meet: "other people who are out there who just want to have some fun." Okay. That doesn't sound so bad. However then he continues on with: "live life and enjoy the world that gives us so many chances to enjoy it!" Live life and enjoy the world. I don't mean to repeat myself, it's just that reading his words makes me sick. Thanks to Woody, his wife is dead and there are children who will never be able to enjoy another moment with their mother.
As a result of my series of Crime Library stories on Woody, my inbox has been overflowing with emails. While the majority is from readers who have an interest in the case, a select few have actually advanced my investigation. In fact, I received the most interesting response late last night from a woman I will call "Tami".

According to Tami, she met Woody through the adult personals website www.adultfriendfinder.com, which describes itself as, "The world's largest sex personals site." Tami said she could not remember the screen name Woody used, but did say that within his ad there was a photo of a woman, buck naked bent over a bed. Allegedly, standing directly behind her in this photo, a smiling Woody Woodring, fully erect and naked as a jaybird. Tami said the woman in the photo appeared to be in her early 20s. She also said Woody told her that the young woman in the photo was one of his students. Tami told me that Woody said he was looking for sex online, because his wife was "boring and would not put out." Woody reportedly told her his two favorite types were redheads and older women.
Now, in case you have not already guessed, Tami is not a shy woman. I have to tell you, she made me blush more then once when we were talking on the phone. She freely admits both she and her husband are swingers and she describes herself as a very "dominant woman."
