Terry Blair |
KANSAS CITY, MO— Jackson County Circuit Court Judge John R. O'Malley has pushed the trial of suspected serial killer Terry Blair, 43, back to March 2008, because police did not turn over evidence to his lawyer in a timely manner. "I can't understand why evidence is still coming forward after this [trial] has been set for 10 months," O'Malley told prosecutor Michael Hunt. "I don't know if I'm watching the Hardy Boys or Laurel and Hardy, the way this is playing out." Blair is charged with killing eight women in 2003 and 2004.
LANSING, MI— Prosecutors charged Matthew "Chilly" Emmanuel Macon, 27, in the death of Sandra Eichorn, 64, and the assault last week of an unidentified 56-year-old woman on Jones Street. Earlier this week, investigators announced that Macon is a suspect in at least five unsolved murders that occurred this summer in central Michigan. He is also being looked at as a possible suspect in a sixth murder from 2004.
