SALT LAKE CITY, Ut. (Crime Library) — Destiny Norton's funeral and burial were Saturday and now her parents are trying to start living some semblance of a normal life, while the family of the man accused of killing her come to grips with what happened.
Thanks to donations from a memorial fund, Destiny's parents Ricky and Rachael have moved out of their squalid low-rent duplex and are looking for a better place to live. They ultimately want to move out of state to get away from this whole mess. For now, Ricky is thinking about returning to his maintenance job at a Mormon church and Rachael is getting ready to have her third child next month.

"They are holding up pretty well, considering," said longtime friend and family spokesperson Jeannie Hill.
Destiny, 5, was snatched from outside her home on July 16. Her body was recovered a week later from the basement of neighbor Craig Gregerson.

At the wake following his daughter's funeral, Ricky Norton appeared to be interacting with guests without breaking into tears — the first time this has happened since Destiny went missing on July 16.
