A common emerged from the reactions of Ashton Glover's friends. It was embodied by the headline used by a friend whose profile was otherwise private: "R.I.P. Ashton. I will never forget you."
Authorities have revealed very little about their investigation into Ashton Glover's disappearance and death, other than the news of the videotape of a male moving Glover's pickup the night she vanished. Police did not yet know the identity of the male, but Sugar Land police Chief Steve Griffith told the press that investigators had "identified people on MySpace.com that are friends. We have talked to numerous people on this particular case. . ."

For now Ashton's friends and family are left only with anguished questions, and Ashton Glover's MySpace profile.
That profile, intended to be inviting and funny for old friends and maybe even draw new friends, has become an impromptu memorial.
