Yesterday, some of the victim's family members spoke about the tragedy with WISC-TV.

"This hole is so huge, a void on our family," said a woman who identified herself as Dee Dee, an aunt of Nicole and Ashley.  "The pain is overwhelming."

"There's no reason, whoever did this, especially, much less anybody else to die in there, but the children too, it's just not right," said Iverson's aunt, Mary Ballbach. "They didn't do anything."

According to Kristen Rand, the legislative director of the Violence Policy Center, "family annihilators" often resort to violence because of stress caused by financial or domestic problems.

"The thought process is 'I can't leave my family, they're better off dead with me."  Rand said in an interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel yesterday.  "A lot of times it might not appear to neighbors or other family members that the stress would be that great.  Often times, people say 'Oh, I can't believe this would happen.'  But it's how that person perceives the problem."
