Photos of Ashley Barker on her personal web sites were not particularly clear, but they all revealed a tall, pretty young woman with a friendly smile. It could be that the circumstances of Ashley's life on the night of June 17, 2006 were such that she was headed for violence, whether she knew it or not. It might have been lurking inside someone close to her, just waiting for the right time to strike. If so, those circumstances didn't break into Ashley Barker's life online in any obvious way.
