Bean also has a profile on MySpace.com. Interestingly enough, the headline was perhaps more telling than he initially intended. It reads, "If you don't like the news, go out and make some." That he did.
According to the About Me section of Bean's profile, he is a senior in college majoring in informatics and minoring in computer science. "I've worked as a software engineer for the past few years full time. For fun, I'm a DJ, so I love to play with records. I am also really into making digital music, mainly trip hop and breakbeats, but I imagine I will branch out more as time passes. I'm here to meet new people."

There is really nothing of interest on his profile, other than a blog post he made on Thursday, February 1, 2007. In it, he posted a quote from Douglas Adams, author of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy: "A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools."
Perhaps he should have taken that quote to heart when plotting Heather's murder. In the end, he played the part of both the designer and the fool.

During Bean's interrogation, he allegedly told police that he stabbed Heather to death the previous month. Afterward, he attempted to cover up the crime by dismembering her body with a chainsaw and burning it. When he was finished, he placed her body parts in 10 trash bags. He then rented a truck to transport Heather's remains to several commercial bins behind area businesses. At some point, Bean dropped off Heather's car at the Dollar Inn hotel on West Washington Street.

"This was his methodical, very well-thought-out plan after the homicide in an attempt to cover up," Detective Todd Lappin said in an interview with The Indianapolis Star.
