Jarrett L. Lane: Riffe's Funeral Service Inc. in Narrows, Va, released his name. According to his profile at Facebook.com he is a Notre Dame Grad Student.

Matt La Porte: A 2005 graduate of Carson Long Military Institute, Matt, age 20, listed his interests on his MySpace.com profile as movies and music.  Earlier today a user with the screen name Grizz left this message on Matt's profile:  "Wow 6 yrs and it ends like this.  You were my barracks buddy.  WTF, this wasn't supposed 2 happen, at least not 2 u.  Wow man.  U, Tomp.  I don't think I can take another.  R.I.P. Man I miss you Turtle."

Henry Lee: A college freshman majoring in computer engineering, Henry, age 20, was granted his citizenship just last year.  His family had imigrated to the United States from Vietnam.  According to a memorial profile on Facebook,com, his home town was Roanoke and he was a graduate of William Fleming High school.

Liviu Librescu: At age 76, Liviu had an impressive resume.  According to the Virginia Tech website Liviu was an engineering science and mathematics lecturer.  He held a Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics and both a B.S. and a M. A. in Aeronautical Engineering.  According to his son, he saved the lives of several students by blocking the doorway of his classroom from the approaching gunman before he was fatally shot.

G.V. Loganathan: Virginia Tech's website lists 51-year-old Loganathan as a professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering.

Jocelyne Couture-Nowak: According to her employee profile on Virginia Tech's website, Jocelyne was a foreign language instructor.  Her husband, Jerzy Nowak, is employed at the college as a horticulture professor.

Daniel O'Neil: Before coming to Virginia, Daniel earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.  Friends have described him as a music lover and said he often posted his own songs to the Web site, www.residenthippy.com.

Juan Ramon Ortiz: A native from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Juan, age 26, was a graduate student in engineering.

Erin Peterson: A member of Phi Sigma Pi, Erin, age 18, graduated from Westfield High in 2006—the same school Cho attended.

Julie Pryde: At 23-years-old, Julie had a lot of accomplishments under her belt.  She was a graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences and she recently traveled to Peru, where she worked with other students improving water systems in South America.  Friends have described her as a compassionate and caring person, who always put others before herself.

Mary Karen Read: Mary, age 20, was an alumna from Annandale High.  According to her MySpace profile she was in the process of reading the book Crime and Punishment.  In the about me section she wrote: "I like to play lacrosse. My favorite ice cream flavor is cookie dough. My favorite color is blue. My birthday is Jan. 30."

Reema Samaha: A 19-year-old freshman, Reema was a Lebanese-American student from Centreville.  She was choreographing a dance when the shooting began.

Leslie Sherman: A sophomore who was majoring in history and international studies, Leslie, age 20, was a 2005 West Springfield graduate.  Police say she was in French class when the gunman shot her.

Maxine Turner: According to her profile on MySpace.com, Maxine was 20-years-old and was majoring in chemical engineering.  She was a member of the In Loving Memory of Taylor Behl MySpace group.
