At the time she disappeared, Theresa was moving from the couple's home to a house in the nearby town of Fort Oglethorpe.
Since the couple's separation, Sam Parker has been living at the home of his deceased parents, about 15 miles south of LaFayette, Sheriff Steve Wilson said. Parker was planning to move back into the Cordell Road home after Theresa moved out.
County records show that sheriff's deputies have responded to the Parkers' home at least four times during the last few years in response to 911 calls concerning domestic disputes. No arrests were made.

Sheriff Wilson said it's natural in a case like this that some suspicion would fall on the husband.
"It doesn't look good," Wilson said, but he added that he has no reason to suspect Sam Parker knows any more about his wife's disappearance than he has already told investigators.
"He's been very cooperative," Wilson said.
Parker has given consent for investigators to search his home on Cordell Road, his vehicles, and his parents' house. Parker has also given statements to agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
