BRUNSWICK, Ga. (Crime Library) — Police announced the arrest of a registered sex offender and three others in connection with the Thursday disappearance of 6-year-old Christopher Michael Barrios.
Investigators on Friday arrested George Edenfield, a 32-year-old convicted felon and registered sex offender, for probation violation. Edenfield, who allegedly suffers from mental problems, lives across the street from Christopher in the Canal Mobile Home Park. Monday police named Edenfield a suspect in the boy's disappearance.

Christopher was last seen about 6:15 Thursday night walking home from a swing set in the mobile home park. As he often does, he went to play on the swings after eating dinner with his grandmother, who also lives in the mobile home park. His father, Christopher Barrios Sr., was still at work at the time.
