Bank customer Karen Davis was next in line behind the two thieves and noticed their fashionable attire. "They probably spent more time dressing for the robbery than actually planning it," she told the Journal-Constitution. "It just really was the most bizarre thing in the world."
Almost as soon as the video aired on news outlets, calls flooded into the Police Department.

Tips ranged from callers claiming to have recognized the female bandits as their nieces, daughters, granddaughters, and even as TV personalities Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, stars of the reality show "The Simple Life."
According to police, detectives had the pair of suspected would-be robbers under surveillance Thursday afternoon, but the suspects, who were riding in a gray Nissan with 27-year-old Michael Chastang, spotted the tail and fled. After a brief chase, the cops caught up to the Nissan in neighboring Douglas County and arrested all three occupants.
