A spokesperson for the family, attorney Wayne McGrew, told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Reviewthat Arley'sfamily was thankful she was back home.
"She's safe. Everybody's obviously relieved," he said. "My understanding is she was always local. I don't know where she was or who she was staying with. They have to work on whatever issues they need to work on as a family."

Arley had disappeared on January 5, after her boyfriend dropped her off at the BP Pit Quik Stop across the street from her high school on Route 982. Earlier this month, she left messages for her mother and sister on their answering machines, but never called back.
