Hose, Sokol, deny allegations
It is not clear what finally prompted Kach to walk out of her ten-year alleged confinement, declare her true identity and tell her story to police. The young woman, now 26, has been reunited with her family.
And Hose, who is being held on $10,000 bail and must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet if released, faces charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and statutory sexual assault. If convicted, he could spend up to 15 years behind bars. What's more, according to published reports, authorities are investigating allegations that the now 48-year-old Hose may have accosted other children at the school.
Through his attorney, Hose has denied the charges, and has insisted that he did not coerce the young girl into sex or cohabitation.
For her part, Sokol, who also maintains her innocence, is facing similar charges of statutory sexual assault and involuntary sexual assault. Authorities say the charges stem from her role in facilitating the alleged assaults and authorities say they do not have any evidence to suggest that Sokol had sexual relations with the girl.
Sokol's bail has been set at $10,000.
