However, Dupont told Crime Library that she noticed a difference in Brianna the last time she saw her. "She changed before she left," Dupont said. "She was kind of ranting about women's rights and our image and we don't need makeup or anything. That was kind of weird. She seemed like she was brainwashed by somebody. She seemed really sad to me."
Dupont also knows Montana Standish and described him this way: "He's a cool kid, very polite but quiet, I guess." Just before Brianna disappeared she told Dupont that she and Standish's relationship was going well and that they had "found a new understanding of each other."
Dupont did not elaborate on what Brianna meant.
It's not like Brianna to disappear without telling someone, Dupont said. "I think if she was going to go somewhere she would've had some kind of plan. I'm very worried about her."
