Last night, I traded a few messages back and forth with one of the people listed on Carly's friends list. According to this person, who does not wish to be identified, Carly did not normally hang out in the area where her body was found.
According to her friend, Carly had another profile on Vampirefreaks.com, a gothic/alternative social networking website much like MySpace, but that profile has since been removed. Her friend also mentioned that Carly was dating a man named Brandon who was in his twenties or thirties. Interestingly enough, there were love message on Carly's MySpace profile from a "Brandon," but those messages mysteriously vanished this past Saturday.
The comments about the older boyfriend are interesting, considering the two witnesses who saw her last placed her with men in their late teens to early twenties. This could also explain why Carly said she was going to meet a friend, and why she was in an area that she did not normally frequent.
Brandon recently deleted his MySpace page, but, after some digging, I was able to locate an older cache of it on Google from January 20.
"I may not be a kid anymore, but I tend to act much younger than I am, and never ever call this a mid-life crisis. To me there is no such thing. All throughout our lives we are going through changes, even people in their late teens and early 20's do. It's called evolution. I am very forthright and self opinionated, and this annoys some people, but they can either live with it or hate it. Either way they are not going to change me.

"I am more a baggy jeans and t-shirt person, and am more comfortable at a live band venue than a nightclub/disco. I was in the military for a number of years and left there as a commando... I am divorced, and have custody of a beautiful and loving 18-year-old (mistype?) son.
"I could say I have already met the one person I consider the one true love of my life, she is gone, some time ago, but that is another story. I need to sort my life out a bit first... I do go for women somewhat younger than me usually..."
