On Thursday, police and crime scene analysts scoured the area where Hill's body lay, looking for clues. They didn't find anything of interest. Her remains were discovered about 25 feet down from the top of the area's main arterial roadway, a steep climb that required coroner officials to hoist the body up with a gurney and pulley.
It was hard to determine how long her body had been there, but Orange County Sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino said the rate of decomposition was consistent with a few weeks.

Hill was reported missing when she didn't arrive home to take her stepdaughter to school. She was currently going through a divorce and sought custody of her estranged husband's daughter. She currently lived with her boyfriend of nine months, Antonio King. Police say they have no solid suspect at this point.
