According to Paul Fields he last saw his wife on the morning of Feb. 15, the day after Valentine's Day.
They had what he described as a "spat" that morning, moments before she left for work. For the previous three months, Maureen, 41, had worked as a teller at the Pahrump Valley branch of Wells Fargo Bank.

According to officials with the Nye County, Nev. Sheriff's Office, Maureen's husband, Paul Fields, has stopped cooperating with investigators.
Maureen's father, Jim Fitzgerald, a retired Newark, N.J. police detective, has traveled to Pahrump several times. Fitzgerald told Crime Library he thinks his son-in-law may have killed Maureen and disposed of her body.
"The marriage was going badly," Fitzgerald said.
